According to the tech spec on the case of the paddle, the control score is 90(out of 100 I assume), yet this paddle has no control at all. A paddle with good control should have stick surface, and that stickiness should last longer than 20 games. I like the paddle bare bone, so once I get a chance I am gonna ask some professional to remove the rubber and put something real on it. This paddle, at this point, has no good spin(if I spin too hard, the thick rubber will also bounce the ball really hard) and no way fix a spin. If you get used to this paddle's strange style, you probably will have problem using any other paddle in the future. So do not buy this one, or replace the rubber. It WILL make a huge difference.UPDATE 07/10/14The customer service responded promptly after I emailed. I have to admit the marketing coordinator, Sarah Krampe, provided amazing service. I was able to get a "replacement at no cost". The new paddle arrived within a week. Now I am happy!
