I put it on the day before and let him wear it around the house to get used to it. It only bothered him for a moment. Then he forgot it was on. The next morning I put it back on and slowly took it out. It took him 30 minutes to get off the porch, but by then he was dead. I was nervous it might slip out but it was pretty safe. I will buy for my sister.
