I wasn't going to keep this because some of the parts are plastic and because this olefin doesn't seem as waxy as the olefin umbrella I have from another company last year.I ordered this because it has vents and I have an uncovered balcony that gets a lot of strong wind.This umbrella is very sturdy. The vents prevent the entire umbrella from falling over like the one I had last year ( I will note however that I've always purchased a weight bag --- which you fill with sand -- that is designed to rest on the umbrella base). The color is a rich navy blue and I honestly think it looks better (colorwise and form) in person than it does on the picture. I have used this umbrella all summer and it looks brand new. The color hasn't faded, nothing has rusted. It looks brand new but I also take it down every night and store it in a waterproof umbrella cover.EDIT: January 2023: The umbrella still looks brand new and I have not noticed any fading. I used it every day spring/summer 2022 it did not rain this summer. Of course I took the umbrella down every night and stored it in a cover when not in use so it did not get rained on very much. Still highly recommended.
