This seems accurate compared to my other therm. Buttons are universal.
I've used this quite a bit and the times seem accurate. I like that you can read the display and hold it at the same time. Some models leave you in your hands like chopsticks to read the display and use it at the same time. Not this one. My only issue is that the buttons are very generic and difficult to press. You really have to press it to click. At this point, the display will begin to distort until you let go. Other than that, this is a great unit.
