This is a beauty by any measure, but the fact that it didn't have the ability to scan slides and film was a deciding factor for me. I was offered to buy other hardware for this, but I just didn't have the space on my desktop, so I had to send the scanner back. I would like to use it for other things, but $850. was my spending limit.
