Good putting mirror with magnetic closure increases the value. There are some issues that cause it not to get 5 stars, but it's still very good depending on how you use it. Pros: - Like any other application mirror, it has lines and space to place the bead for consistency. - Comes with two magnetic clasps for you to check your stick's path. - There are small spikes on the bottom to keep the mirror in place when you place it on carpet or on the green. Disadvantages: - Gates are relatively long. This means that if you have an arc in your pattern shot (like I have, but some people are just moving back and forth) you can actually hit the back of the net even if you're hitting the racquet correctly. The small gate that comes with the kit (U-shaped gate) is too small. I trained with him and it was driving me crazy that I couldn't put the ball through him cleanly (just enough room for the ball and millimeters on each side). The problem wasn't that I misplaced it, or even with my own stroke, but that finding a perfectly straight putt is extremely difficult. This meant that even though I thought my shot was bad when I put the net away, all shots went into the net. Now I never use these gates because they only hinder my practice and do not help me. Conclusion: This is a good study guide, but for the reasons above, this one just isn't the right one for the pocket. Like I said, maybe this will work better for you if you have less arcuate putting or a perfectly straight putt to practice with. Keep this in mind when purchasing this mirror.
