Review on Silicone Mold DIY Scrapbook Ornament by Carol Miller

Revainrating 2 out of 5

uneven shapes; Mold Depth Deviation

I would not recommend buying these molds. There are much better alternatives in the same price range. The only reason I bought was the arrival time. I bought 4/5 molds labeled "Angel Wings" and these are them. They are by no means quality forms. People buy these molds in China for cents for dollars and then resell them in several other locations. I usually avoid pink uniforms, so now I don't accidentally buy them. Size: These molds are large and fit into Monstera leaf molds. Lack of consistency in the molds: The problem is that I bought 2 molds from this seller and they have 2 completely different depths inside. There are also a total of 2 completely different mold thicknesses. One of them is very thin, and the other has decent hardness. Uneven Depth: The thin shape is also uneven all around. So when you pour the resin, it flows through the cuts in the leaves. This leads to the need to grind small holes, which is not only difficult but also tedious. It's also unnecessary if you're buying well-made molds. (You can see that shimmer on the right side of the leaf in the flower image... and it was a softer shimmer) Texture: These are semi-glossy shapes so they leave a slight sheen on the finished product, but in my opinion you always need it one more top coat to be considered a good end product. Actually I can't say much positive. I wouldn't buy them again, so I can't recommend them
