We installed 3 of these bad boys in the unpacking stations of a metal coating plant as blow dry parts for anodized and hard coated products. You are great for this task. The rubber tips don't scratch and the increased airflow works great without damaging parts. BUT! It is WAY too hot for use with conversion coatings such as Alodine/Iridite/ChemFilm/TCP, which are sensitive to excessive heat within 24-48 hours of coating and reach sub-MILSPEC temperatures after just a minute or two of exposure. Requirements meet temperature limits before corrosion and adhesion properties are affected. I'm actually trying to figure out how easy it is to bypass the heating function with a switch and only use it for cold air.
