Review on UE BOOM 2 After Hours: The Ultimate Waterproof and Shockproof Wireless Bluetooth Speaker by Robert Arneson

Really really terrible. Unbearable, really. The Bluetooth connection was so bad that the music kept cutting out. And intermittently the whole Boom 2 would shut down. I bought two - I was thinking of using them as a stereo pair (a variant with a terrible "boom" application). The first test was in the pool during my mate's bachelorette party. complete failure. The app is terrible. Even though the speakers were only 4 feet apart, they could barely communicate with each other. If you move the speakers more than a few feet apart, they will lose each other. When it worked it sounded great. but it will run less than 5 minutes. After about 5 minutes, one of the speakers was muted and/or turned off. You have to turn it off and on again for the app to see it again. May be. Sometimes you need to turn off both and cycle both devices. I had to restart my phone multiple times. Oh, and please note that the music skips all the time - whether you have one or both devices running. I considered throwing them against the wall rather than returning them for two reasons: 1) the constant skipping and unplugging questions drove me into a violent, uncontrollable rage, and 2) I was afraid the seller might try to resell them , and some poor guy can get stuck with these miserable devices. In the end we decided that it's better to sit still than slowly lose your mind using this junk. Do not buy. you have been warned
