I gave myself Mi 8 Lite in early January to replace the old Redmi Note 3 Pro. After two months of use, I am finally ready to talk about the pros / cons of the smartphone and my impressions after switching from RN3P. Many people are interested in performance, so I'll start with this aspect. The processor power for everyday tasks (browser, instant messengers, simple games) was also enough for me on RN3P, so I did not notice a significant increase in performance. On Mi 8 Lite for the entire time of use, there were no freezes and slowdowns. Choosing between the version with 4 GB of RAM and 6 GB, I preferred the latter (especially since the difference was only 2-3 thousand). After starting the programs, 4 GB usually remain free, in rare cases 3 with a penny. The amount of internal memory is amazing, especially after moving from 32 GB. After installing about a hundred applications, 95 GB remain free. Thanks to a more modern type of memory, the increase in the speed of system boot, application installation and other memory-intensive operations is very noticeable. I consider it wrong to look at mAh in our time. The manufacturer can optimize the firmware well, which will significantly affect the autonomy. Mi 8 Lite "lives" with me for one and a half to two days, which I'm satisfied with. I am not a photographer, the quality of the camera of the average user will suit both day and night. After RN3P heaven and earth :) The case out of the box is too soft - it does not fit snugly on the sides of the smartphone, which is why I had to order a new one. I really liked the iridescent back panel, so the case on my back is transparent. Of the minuses, I want to note the lack of notifications to the left of the bangs (they disappear after a couple of seconds). For two months I have not learned to focus on the entire screen, so very often I do not notice what is happening in the area of the bangs. Some attribute the pixel grid to the minuses. Yes, it is noticeable on a white background, if you hold the smartphone at an angle and look closely. At a distance of 10 cm it is no longer visible.
