Review on 🌿 Heidi Organic Skincare by Sonya Oberembt

Attention, there is no beauty in literature in this edition! THIS CHECK ONLY APPLIES TO BLOOM EDITION PACKAGES. Heidi is such an amazing story, Helen Dole's translation reads so beautifully and encourages the reader to follow her closely, interact and join the adventure. This book has short sentences as if to feed the reader so they don't have to pay attention or engage. In other words, it's a stupid translation! Please don't take good literature away from young readers! There is room for simplified versions of the books BUT it must be made clear at the time of purchase that this is not the original version and the text has been altered. This book also changes the names of the characters. This is a parody! So if you just want a "nice" cover - that's fine, but even the illustrations inside aren't very good - I was upset and sent it back. Thank you Revain for making returns so easy. Please note that Revain sells different editions that have been translated in different ways. You might find a new edition better than this one. I'm very happy with a used example I found at Revain from 1945. The illustrations are wonderful, the language is beautiful, and the titles aren't Americanized. One issue of Puffin in Bloom features a character named Barbie.
