I completely adore this journal. I have never seen a journal with designs and water colored pages such as this. So as soon as I saw it I knew it was the one I didn't even know I had been looking for.I got it to make a sort of herb grimoire and I think it will do its job wonderfully.I haven't written in it yet, obviously, as I'm waiting for new pens I ordered, but I think the paper should hold up well. I suppose I'd say it's like printer paper thickness but a maybe a bit more. smooth. I wouldn't recommend using makers or anything along that line as I think it will more than likely bleed/show through. I will find out how gel pens hold up tomorrow when they arrive, hopefully those wont bleed or show through.I have added photos of a few of my favorite pages that way you can see the variety between pages. Some are more colorful or have more detailed designs on them. There are maybe three or four I think with actual drawn images (which are still cute). And I only counted two pages that were absolutely blank. I also included a photo with the remote for size comparison purposes, it was the only thing in my vicinity that I thought would be most easily recognized for size.Overall I say this journal is absolutely worth the price for the attention to design if this is the sort of thing you like. I will absolutely get another one if/when I fill this one up.*Sorry for the long review, I tried to cover things I personally would've liked to see in reviews.
