This is the second system I am using. I have been using the system for 1 month. Unfortunately this system has some disadvantages and I have used it on two dogs with two collars. Therefore, I can confirm these issues by testing multiple collars. Collars automatically switch to "Beep Only" mode after switching on. You must press the power button in series to power the collar. There is no reliable way to be 100% sure that the collar will deliver a shock or just beep without checking it each time before charging. Not cool.2. If the cable is broken the control unit will reset to the lowest power setting, or if power is lost it will reset to the lowest power setting. I have a 1 acre yard and the lowest settings won't properly shock a dog.3. Sometimes collars don't beep or shock. This is a deal killer for this system. You must have a system that is extremely reliable. I have checked that the loop power is stable and sometimes the collars do not work until reset. Worse, when the power is low, the collar might not work for about a day or two, but the light will beep constantly. So I have to trash the system as I already installed it and probably won't get it back. avoid this system unless you need a reliable tool to protect your pets.
