Worked well, best in parts

I had a bit of a bite with the initial removal of the old one. The old one was leaking due to the seal and was also worn out. Advice only. You will likely have trouble turning off the fan. Just order a fan clutch. With the fan on, remove the water pump. Take a hacksaw and cut off the fan screw that is attached to the water pump. Loosen 4 screws and your fan will come off the clutch. Buy a clutch and put a fan on it. Don't hang around trying to get a pipe wrench to remove the fan clutch from the water pump. I bent the instrument. Neither a screwdriver nor an awl could hold it in the hole. A simple solution is to simply order a fan clutch, cut the screw and remove the fan as directed. Save yourself headaches and irritation. After all of this was installed, the installation went pretty quickly. About 2 hours of work the way I did it. The price for a mechanic was $433. Parts total $60. $10 for a bottle of antifreeze at the grocery store.
