RAM mounts are really great. I use them to hold my action cams on the side of my car when driving off-road. They also hold up well when the cameras collide with tree branches and the like. Assuming you get good suction the first time you install it, you can count on the suction cup to last for hours. I like this type of foundation for two reasons. First, I think the wing nut style twist lock feature is easier to grip, especially when you or the suction cup is wet. The other type is pretty easy, but this one is even easier. Second, instead of the included 1-inch ball mount, you can place other accessories on it, including custom ones. different types of nozzles that allowed me to use suction cups to smooth surfaces. After all, you can't go wrong with RAM's suction cups and accessories. They are high quality, durable, easy to use and just work!
