Review on 📷 Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ Lens - Silver - Micro Four Thirds Cameras by Josh Tadder

I've been looking and researching for a while for a new camera that can replace my old Fuji X-100 as my main camera and Oly 620 SLR. However, I googled back and forth between the Canon G5X and the Olympus OM-D M5 Mark II as I wasn't sure if I really needed all the Oly features. I decided to buy Olya and a 12-42 Pro lens but didn't know about this lens. My main lens for Oly will be the 12-42 Pro as it really is an excellent lens. However, I saw this lens after I bought my Oly and thought I'd buy it just to see how it performs. While it'll never match the image quality and low-light capabilities of this pro lens, it essentially makes a pocket camera almost identical to the Canon. This is a quick way to make a pocket camera with the characteristics of another lens. I wanted to seal the body of the Oly as Canon doesn't have that. This lens is not sealed but my Pro is sealed and that's enough. I wouldn't recommend it as the primary lens for the M5 II, but I think it should be included in your kit. I have an Alaska cruise planned for June and I will actually get to experience this Oly kit. This small pancake lens did a great job in test shots with and without flash over the past few days. I like that my M5 II is like two cameras now. Just make sure you get this Oly lens cap with this lens. I wasn't sure at first, but for this lens it's a must have. You can't use a filter, but that's what my pro and my other lenses are for. If you are unsure about which lens to choose, I really recommend it for the M5 II.
