Old model--impossible to bend and too long

I am a teacher and hoped to use this to help hold my phone while I teach lessons. I need to be able to move it around while teaching, and it is simply ridiculously impossible to bend the arm without two hands and bracing it against something. Yes, the swivel attachment works great, but to move it lower or higher to zoom in and out, it simply not possible. Phones aren't heavy enough to merit the thickness of the arm. If you don't ever plan to move it once you fight it into a certain shape, it will work.
