These are my favorite paper plates. They're durable, stand up to liquids, and you can even eat steaks on them if you're not using a serrated steak knife. They are absolutely microwaveable. Clean up is super easy considering you can just toss them in the bin (no food, of course. Ha). The value is large compared to heating a large volume of water to wash dishes for a group event. I contacted Dixie a while back to inquire about the coatings on their paper cups. I was assured that they do not use BPA plastics in their coatings. From their website, "Dixie® products are not made with BPA or phthalates." Overall, these Ultra paper plates are king. I've tried almost every paper dish and I keep coming back to the Dixie brand. even if they cost a little more. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to this product.
