This game is AWESOME except for one big problem: when your kids put Pete's truck on the carpet (AND THEY DO BECAUSE THE KIDS DO), the fibers of the carpet get stuck to the bottom fifth of the middle of the tire retreated into the truck and Pete stopped moving. Our family played this game at the dinner table and it was great! In fact, we all had fun. But then when the game was over our 6 and 2 year old boys, both truck addicts, decided to play with Pete on our rug. That's when Pete stopped moving. One day we took Pete apart to fix the problem, but found that simply unscrewing the bottom didn't give access to that center tire (the same tire that Pete moves). My husband then extensively disassembled the inside to clean the tire and after a thorough reassembly of the truck that took longer than you think Pete was back up and running. We took Pete and put the box up, thinking we were safe. Soon our curious two year old found his way to Pete and immediately put him back on the carpet. Pete stopped working after a few minutes. This is a great game if Pete stays on a hard clean surface. But definitely don't put Pete on a woolen rug.
