For someone with hand arthritis this is a wonderful product. I don't grate cheese all the time, but 1-2 times a week it turns a giant hunk of cheese into a large bowl in under 5 minutes. By hand on a hand grater it might take 15 minutes but for me with my arthritis it would take about half an hour. Cleaning is just a quick disassembly, rinse with hot water to clean, then a quick single-handle brush, rinse and you're done. The only issue I have and won't deduct a star for is that you have to take the grated cheese out of the wheel after each block, otherwise it stays inside and gets bagged and has to be removed with a hard object. leave everything in one big soft lump. I made that mistake once. But just reach out and pull out after each block, 2 seconds, done. So don't deduct a star for a minor inconvenience. Oh, and DO NOT use a lot of force or you'll break things. I'm almost there and honestly it doesn't take any strength or hard pressure. And make sure you CLOSE the device on the surface before use, otherwise it will become unwieldy.
