There's nothing wrong with these shoes. Wear them as a snug-fitting outdoor shoe that doesn't require laces, or fold the back over the insole and wear them like lightweight slippers. The rubber outsole is good, the upper is durable and well made, and these shoes are amazingly flexible. Measuring your feet when they are on the floor is easy to do while sitting on a kitchen chair. The front point of the toe is not difficult to find, the back point of the heel can be about an inch off the ground, the distance between these two points is just what is needed and these shoes are made in metric sizes. . Laying out a large piece of paper for your feet will help eliminate measurement marks on the floor. Measure both feet carefully and if one foot is slightly longer than the other (yes it happens) use the larger of the two measurements to order the shoes and then carefully measure both feet again just to be sure. The shoes I received from this company were made and shipped in the same metric size that I ordered.
