Looks very beautiful after installation, looks good. Came back from 1 year, the aluminum is too soft, the lock washer even left a 1/16 inch offset. Second, if you have to remove the balls to insert 1 7/8, the balls look awful because of the notch. 3. Problem, after you put it back together, say 2 weeks later, you want to adjust it, it already got scared and rubbed the rod badly where it was originally installed. The rating for this item is very good, but I have yet to figure out why it has the same rating as my off-the-shelf steel bracket, which is made of an even thicker material. If you can mount this mount and it fits all your gear without adjustment except for the 2" to 2.5" ball joint, I think you'll be happy.
