As a man who just turned 61 and has always hated shaving I am really looking forward to this razor now. After purchasing this one, I decided on a hot towel rail to shave like I would in a hair salon. I also recommend that when you use a razor to trim sharp beard lines, you top it off with EZ-Blade Shave Gel, which allows you to get a close shave without covering the shaving surface as it stays clear. .I use this razor with Feather AS-D2. The dual blade makes the most of the shave, and the razor is reserved for the edges of your beard for a clean line that you can't achieve any other way. This is my first and only razor. I was afraid that using one of them would be a painful, bloody experience. To my delight, learning the technique was easy and painless. I'm not so enamored with the fine art of shaving that I was dying to learn how to sharpen and clean. So this choice of replacement blade turned out to be optimal for me. About 50-60 cents per blade, nothing to complain about the costs. Since I only use it for edging, I don't have to change blades often.
