I received the flashlights in the mail and found the shipping and handling to be more than adequate.When I opened the box, I was surprised to find these were not the typical cheap metal or plastic, but felt well made and sturdy when I picked them up.Small enough to be able to keep with you when you are traveling, (They have a nice belt clip), but large enough that you feel like there is actually something in your hand.I put in the AAA batteries and was pleasantly surprised by the brightness. I began to play with the settings, as there are 5 settings to go through. Everything in each of them works perfectly.The zoom with the lens was amazing. The out zoom lit up a large patch extremely well and you could bring your circle down to a small square, which I thought was great, especially if you are camping and need to relieve yourself at night. You don't shine the light into other campers areas/tents, but can still see very well.There is an option to order rechargeable batteries, which I did not do, but I could see that as a good investment if you use this a lot.The instructions are well done and the overall feel is amazing. This is a great purchase for the money, I am glad I bought it.
