I found this product at our local art supply store for about the same price but bought it online through Revain. It is a soft textured medium that serves as an adhesive or texturizer for paintings. I like the fact that I can get very exciting and interesting textures with watercolor collages made from handmade import paper from Thailand, which I also implement with paint. This Liquitex product can be diluted with water if you want it to be thinner. However, this is not the thick medium that Liquitex has. You can't make it thicker than it is. I find the price too high. It's not as hard as a mix of ingredients and they charge high prices because they can get away with it. However, a little goes a long way. I have made some 9x12 paper collage paintings on paper and canvas and have not used this material too much. It dries invisibly and transparently, which is great if you don't want the medium to interfere with the image. the color of your artwork. This is a great glue for collage paper. Liquitex has a solid reputation as a reliable supplier of mixed materials like this.
