This is Otterbox. What else can you expect? Almost the perfect case

OtterBox COMMUTER SERIES Case for Samsung Galaxy S9 - Retail Box - BLACK What Do You Say? This is an OtterBox. These are the best cases on the planet. In previous reviews I have described what happened to my iPhone 5 years ago and I always end up coming back to OtterBox. Since then I've tried Pelican, i-Blason, SupCase, CaseOlogy, Encased and a few more. I've only bought cheaper options when OtterBox didn't have them or they didn't make them for the phone I still had. Some of these other cases were better than others, and they all worked for many people. OtterBox is just a Rolex among cases. Especially since the phones are waterproof and you don't need a LIFEPROOF (OtterBox owns). Since I found screen protectors from ArmorSuit I didn't need a built in screen protector so you could switch from Defender to Commuter. An armored suit with rounded edges is ideal. Easy to apply with a spray gun, the protective film is crystal clear and always looks new. Nobody knows you have it. With the S7Edge, you had to purchase Case Friendly Armorsuit to keep the case from creating potential edge lift. Now with S9 you don't have to. I bought the case friendly version and the regular one will work as well. The case fits snugly and the sides allow access to the rounded edges of the phone. The tops of the case protrude a little more than the sides to protect the screen if you drop it or lie on the screen. The cut-out for the camera, fingerprint scanner, etc. is neat and tidy and easily accessible. The port covers fit snugly. As expected, the body of the S7Edge was a bit heavier since it was the first rounded screen. This case fits snugly and is easy to put on. Dressing the S7 was difficult. Not this one. The easy installation method is to put on the soft shell cover first. Before putting on the hard case, you then need to thread the port covers through the case and then install them on the phone. If you try to install everything at once, you will have a hard time putting your phone in it.

Pros
  • Comes without screen protector
Cons
  • Big and Chunky
