Bought a new HP desktop computer 8 years ago for $350. Until today it was 2 bars 2Gb-1200mhz. Took these 2 out, put this baby 8Gb-1600MHz in, fingers crossed and BAM! After an unusually long boot process, everything worked. I almost bought a new computer but figured why not spend $40 to see if I could speed this one up to make it bearable. Memory always showed more than 75% full and I couldn't help but feel like this was my bottleneck. We use a computer for QuickBooks online courses and have always had the urge to shoot ourselves in the face with the horrible load times when logging into QB despite running fiber at gigabit speeds. Now this desire has subsided π. Loading time is about 1/3 of what it was. I'm going to buy another flash drive because I've read that computers with two flash drives are more efficient. If it improves performance even further, it's a win. I leave the old flash drive because in other reviews they talk about some sort of "blue screen". During the long boot time I mentioned earlier the screen was blue so I was getting scared lol. Anyway, I'll update if anything changes.
