After seeing that another Furrion microwave owner solved their blown fuse problem by replacing the door switch holder with this item I decided Giving me a try as it was similar to what I took out of my Furrion microwave. Of course it works great! I removed three old door switches, installed them in this new switch holder, put everything back together and a month later everything still works great, the fuses no longer blow when the door is closed. The only question I can't definitively answer is why the old switch holder was to blame. I noticed that the switches in the old switch bracket were a bit loose and I noticed some wear in the area where the doorknob makes contact with the switch bracket. Time will tell if this new part will eventually need to be replaced; My guess is yes because it's made of plastic and is therefore subject to more wear and tear than metal. But at the same time, I'm glad I didn't have to replace the whole microwave because of this problem!
