I have to say right away that it seems to be working. However, I encountered some oddities during the installation. First, does the card seem too short for PCIe? When I installed it in my case, the bracket didn't seem to fit into the slots in the case frame. I basically had to remove all of my other cards on this system so I could rotate the card properly to properly seat it. PCIe is the standard, so I don't understand why it's so inconvenient to properly seat this card in the slot. Second, the USB 3.0 connector interface feels very tight on the inner edge to fit the USB 3.0 connector cable I plugged in. I was worried. I wanted to try so hard that I yanked the connector off the card, and trying to unplug the cable to reseat it or connect it to other components is just as resilient. Finally at least on Windows 7 after installing the drivers. I had a crude patch trying to get it to properly recognize related things. I finally got it to work with a bit of fiddling, but even now when I plug in my 802.11ac USB adapter it sometimes just seems to read at USB 2.0 speeds (Windows gives me a notification that I'm reading the device can connect something faster, and Wi-Fi speeds are only around 173 Mbps when this adapter can fully pull the full 866.7 Mbps I typically see on AC networks). a little strange duck.
