Review on Powerful Intel Core i7-3770K Quad-Core Processor with 8MB Cache and LGA 1155 Compatibility - BX80637I73770K by Amar Singh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

I am not a hacker, an information technology specialist, or an overclocker; I am just a regular user, and there are millions of such. I am so sorry that the description does not have the appropriate correct technical jargon, but I will describe in my own words. I upped my proportion so that I could better manage the growing number of photographs and movies. I located the right settings in the BIOS after reading a couple of articles on the proper way to overclock, and lo and behold, it worked! At this time, the % in normal mode in AIDA displays 3900 MHz, but the peak load shows 4222 MHz. Everything is functioning normally, and there is no evidence of throttling (I read somewhere that on this processor it turns on after the 100C mark). In spite of the fact that I own a typical cooler such as the Ice Hammer IH-4350, which costs 700 dollars, the standby temperature is between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, and in the photo-video conversion mode, it does not exceed 45 degrees Celsius. This is approximately 20 degrees cooler than its predecessor; however, this is just a fairy tale:)) I did almost forget about that. I also loaded the Asus Smart Doctor application, which when the temperature gets too high, kicks on the option that makes the fan spin faster than normal. Now it's like the computer is flying. Following the upgrade, my Windows operating system currently has an overall performance rating of 7.8 out of a possible 7.9 points. I think that this is a good ranking all things considered, with the exception of the hard drive. I strongly suggest going ahead and purchasing the processor.

Pros
  • - as slick and stealthy as a leopard:)) -as chilly as an iceberg; -automatic acceleration; -huge headroom for overclocking; -multitasking performance that is just outstanding (three or four parallel open programs are no longer a problem)
Cons
  • The cost, as is customary. But one cannot expect to pay a low price for quality.
