Powerful, great results

This hair dryer is really powerful and yes it dries hair faster than a regular 1800w hair dryer. I have 2 attachments: a concentrator and a brush. The brush will take some practice and I'm not sure how often I'll use it - I prefer my own brush with a hub. It really blows air over your head - it's a biting wind. The on/off switch is on the grip and the tone/airflow is on the barrel. I don't find myself accidentally pressing buttons while using the dryer - that's good. The settings light up. There are 3 heating modes and 3 airflow modes, as well as a cold air supply button. The dryer recognizes the nozzle and automatically adjusts the temperature and airflow – wow! You can also set the heat and air manually if you don't like the automatic settings. I find the automatic settings to be pretty good, although I do like cooler air sometimes. This is easy to change. The hub can be easily adjusted for pre-styling and precision styling by simply moving the bar. I start with pre-styling to get my hair in order quickly and then finish with precision. Wow - this works really well. My hair is straight, thick and very close to what my hairstylist achieves (I'll never be as good as her, I can't use a comb). The hair dryer is not too heavy - it is comparable to my 1800W hair dryer. The handle would be better with a more ergonomic design. It's a bit bulky and just doesn't feel that comfortable in my hand. The Revain photos make the dryer look huge, but I was glad it wasn't huge - big, yes, but not silly. The trunk is short and short. It's not quiet and the noise is more whistling than a traditional hair dryer. I don't have a decibel meter, but it seems to be as noisy as or slightly less than my professional hair dryer. This is a really good hair dryer and it dries hair faster without heat damage. Ionized air smoothes cuticles. It comes with a full color manual in English and Spanish. It's well done.
