Review on 🔧 ORICO Silver Aluminum 5.25 to 2.5/3.5 Inch Bay Adapter: Internal HDD Mounting Kit with Screws & Shock Absorption Rubber Washer by Junrey Jewel

Good things first: It's very solidly made, it's thick aluminum with a high quality paint finish or powder coating. The workmanship is good, nothing sharp, and it's pretty sturdy. The only problem is that they decided to use the same M3 thread for the part that you screw into the 3.5" hard drive bracket. M3 is usually used for SSDs and 2.5" drives, but if like me you are using a drive holder with the supplied screws/stands, this is a problem as you cannot use the ORICO supplied screws. Aluminum, I was able to re-tap/tap the holes and get it working, but it was an unexpected and annoying roadblock for an otherwise very easy-to-install device.
