I've used this solder pad a few times, works great, no complaints. I used it today with a heat gun and found the liner bulging under my component (I used 450 degrees Celsius). I thought the pad was permanently damaged but the bulge is mostly gone and it still appears to be functional although there is a permanent white burn mark on the pad. That being said I also burned the board at the same time so this pad is probably good enough for someone who knows what they are doing and not applying a constant temperature of 450 degrees to a small spot on the pad which is not good for electronic components, same as for the pad. 4 stars only because the pad is advertised as "resistant" up to 500 degrees and I don't like misleading advertising.
