Being skeptical like most I wasn't sure I wanted to invest my hard earned money in a name brand I wasn't familiar with. Of course I looked at all of the name brands I know for the cordless ratchet. I thought to myself "I need to get that popular red one" or the "new Blue one". But at almost half of those other brands this Kimo was too tempting, and it hasn't disappointed. For less than the bare tool for the other brands you get the tool, two batteries, a charger, a case, and a free set of sockets. So, I charged up both batteries as soon as I got it, which didn't take long, and proceeded to play with it on the couch for the evening. But since then I've used the Kimo ratchet on several small jobs (patio table, Truck door disassembly/reassembly and a brake job) and i haven't had to charge the first battery once since charging it the first day. This tool has a great paddle trigger thats very responsive to the pressure you squeeze. It's got decent power at full speed and makes jobs far less tedious. It has the same or similar feeling in the hand with similar weight and speed as the red one. A friend of mine that has the red one checked out my new Kimo and he was surprised at how similar it was to his red one. He was even blown away at the price difference. This is a great tool at an even better price.So if your reading this review to get an idea if you'll be happy with this instead of the popular red one, you will be!My only gripe about the kit is the plastic buckles on the case. This was the reason for 4 out of 5 stars in the Durability category. The case is nice and sturdy, and I haven't had a problem with it yet. But the buckles feel like if I open and close it one too many times or happen to throw it in the back of the truck it'll break the buckles. Aside from that minor imperfection this is a great deal for a tool like this.
