So I tested the standard PNY adapter (P-SDU128U185EL-GE) with UHS-I and the BaseQi adapter in Crystal Disk Mark. SURPRISINGLY, the PNY adapter was slightly faster, while the BaseQi adapter lost very little power and was actually faster in the ONE. I added test images (the one with 64.06 is the BaseQi adapter). Another tip that might be helpful for my fellow Surface Books (and sisters) if you want Windows to recognize this as a full drive instead of removable media (which is useful if you're using it as your primary Dropbox drive, for example). doesn't allow you to save your Dropbox folder to "removable media"), follow the steps I found online.
