I sometimes have trouble syncing with the Echelon app even though my settings confirm Bluetooth is on and connected. They didn't sync the last time I used them and I didn't have time to figure it out, but the watch itself still glowed with colors representing heart rate per minute so I could still see where I was on the heart rate scale found. I didn't want to spend extra money on a watch that does a million other things, that's what I need it for and it does the job.
