Near Prismacolor
It's pretty near Prismacolor. They are not as creamy but sharpen better than Prismacolor. I also prefer the hand feel over Prismacolor because they are matte. Unlike many cheaper pencils, each pencil has a color name. I bought the portrait set because I have a set of coloring books with people in scenes so I needed skin tones. The skin tones in this set are a bit too pink or orange, but I can usually mix a few colors to get something realistic. There are no shades of green in the portrait set, so you can't paint the skin of Mars! Rzhunimagu!
