I used them for 2 lines in an insulated wall - the first ran 5 cables from behind the TV to the floating shelves, the second a big bundle of power and ethernet Cables from the floating shelves to the power/ethernet ports on the wall below. TL; DR: This is a great product that I absolutely recommend and will likely purchase again for other projects in the future. The product was definitely well made and the installation was pretty easy. Here are some things I've learned and would like to share with anyone considering this product: โข I can wholeheartedly confirm that knees/plates can be painted without prior surface preparation. Of course the paint will scratch a bit if the cable is pulled rougher, but that's to be expected (I only touched up the paint when I was done). โข When you drill a hole in drywall, there's drywall dust everywhere - _incredibly_ dirty. If you can make this part unfurnished and/or put some blankets on first, you're much better off. Like an idiot I hung my shelves first and it was a hassle to clean up. Note: This has nothing to do with the product itself โข No wonder the set includes a plumb bob! My first descent was a straight descent and pulling cables was insanely easy. My second pass was necessarily about 10ยฐ off vertical, and running cables became extremely difficult as the canal filled up. Each line required the use of line fish to pull it through and the last ones had to be fed individually. This is because the pipe is flexible and not vertical and does not form a completely straight line from point A to point B. Not sure if the insulation in the wall made it worse or better. On the one hand, the insulation held the bend in place and was difficult to work on every time. On the other hand, without this insulation, the line can sag so much that it becomes even more difficult. In short, if you absolutely have to, you should make sure that both ends are aligned vertically.
