I have seen videos of others who have purchased this device and was impressed by how loud this device is. I didn't run separate wires to connect this, instead I did as the others did and just installed it and hooked it up to my standard horns in a way that didn't require me to flip another switch and if you need to blow the horn, you don't have to. To find the switch, simply press the normal horn on the steering wheel. And by the way, I told you, that thing is LOUD. I think it's worth the money to buy a copper wound pump. Happy with the purchase
