I bought this set of rugs because they were supposed to be 100% cotton and I liked the shades advertised. When I received them, I was surprised that the colors are so bright, the color of the sea wave is almost neon. As soon as I opened the package there were little bits of carpet everywhere. For lack of a better term, I call it pile (not fluff, but pieces of pile carpet yarn). I thought they were quick made and that was an accident and I expected to be able to shake them out very well and all the spilling would be over. No, the villi stuck to my pants, spilled around the house, made my pup vomit from falling into his food and creaky ball. I cleaned them every time I saw it daily. I decided to throw them in a cool dryer to try and filter out the yarn that was falling off. No matter how many times I shake or twirl in the dryer they still fall off and stick to me, carpet etc. Today I chose to wash gently and tumble dry low. I clean my dryer's lint trap after every load and these little mats filled my big machine's lint trap in 20 minutes. If that's not enough, they are very light. So shaking can fluff them up a bit, but they flatten out and look worn after only a very short run. In fact, I avoided walking on them. What good is a carpet that you can't walk on that keeps fluffing? It's been like this for a few weeks now. upset.
