Works as advertised to selectively power SATA drives in your computer system as others have said. The selector switches are well hidden but easily accessible thanks to the fact that they are installed in the expansion card slot on the back of your PC. A great solution for a multi-boot PC without worrying about hard drive damage. The device allows you to connect two SATA power plugs to a PC power supply and turn 4 devices on and off, but I've only used it with one SATA power supply. The PSU is plugged in and only selectable between 2 different SSD boot drives and that's how it works fine.
