I use this book for mixed media journaling. I have subjected this book to numerous abuses and the paper has withstood both subtle artistic effects and extreme mixed media decoupage. The spine of a book is under a lot of pressure from the thick layers I've added and it's still not broken. Very impressive for this price range. Average quality paper for watercolor (not student and not terrible, but not top art class). I have tried several watercolor effects on this type of paper with great success and minimal distortion. I stumbled across a few sites with weird substances (perhaps too big or inappropriately big). All in all... these albums are good enough that I keep repurchasing them and always look forward to working on them.
