Review on PTC F253 Transmission Filter Kit by Dred Swindler

Before I decided on this product I read some reviews about other Toyota Tacoma applications. I've read in most reviews that other manufacturers have cork and other sump liner materials. I also read that they were folded in the packaging causing tears and some broke. This one was completely untouched. Props to this brand. Everything was easy to remove and replace. Too bad for Toyota that he didn't put a filler tube and dipstick on my Tacoma. I had to make a squeeze bottle out of one of the transmission fluid bottles. I drilled a 3/8 hole in one of the caps. Then insert a 3/8 OD plastic tube, the vacuum line will also work. This allowed me to place a hose in the fill hole on the top right side of the gearbox next to the underbody gearbox tunnel. Without this invention it is almost impossible to supply new fluid to the transmission.
