PTC F253 Transmission Filter Kit Review

Worked great. Pretty simple build. The hardest part was getting the liquid back to Tacoma. There are 20 screws on the pan, so be sure to tighten the filter before replacing the pan.

I've compared this to what I just removed from my 2010 Tacoma V6 4wd and it looks identical. Looks solid and well made. The pad is perfectly aligned. At OReilly's recommendation, I added a small amount of sealant to both sides of this rubber grommet. I doubt it's necessary in most situations, but I don't plan on dropping the palette again anytime soon, so I figure an extra sealer won't hurt.

Before I decided on this product I read some reviews about other Toyota Tacoma applications. I've read in most reviews that other manufacturers have cork and other sump liner materials. I also read that they were folded in the packaging causing tears and some broke. This one was completely untouched. Props to this brand. Everything was easy to remove and replace. This is by far the best transfilter kit I have ever bought. The filter and gasket matched the factory filters exactly. The gasket material was the same material as the filter itself. The screw holes in the gasket were actually slightly smaller, which held the screws in place before I reinstalled the pan. I'll buy again when the time comes. 2014 Toyota Tacoma

I changed the fluid and filter on my 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad 4x4 with 210,000 miles towing. The gasket fitted the pan perfectly and the filter came with an o-ring. As you can see from the photos this gasket is for a 20 hole drain pan. The image on Revain may not be accurate. The spacer can hold 20 screws in place while you attach the pallet. Great product so far, will update if anything changes.
