Review on 🚿 Delta RP17453 Delta Tub Spout, Chrome Finish, Standard Size by Shafiq Wang

Delta bath spout RP17453 comes with a metal adapter for the bath spout. All I really needed was a nose. I don't know why, but my plumber replaced my 25 year old diverter spout with a delta spout. After 2-3 years, the fold-down Delta conversion fell out. I tried sealing the plaster outlet with caulking tape but it kept popping up. So I ordered a new Delta outlet and two weeks later a new diverter showed up. Notified Revain and they got 5 stars for quickly sending me a replacement and paying for shipping on the returned spout. The new spout works fine but I think I've figured out why the previous two diverters popped up, the water pressure in that area has recently increased. . So I now only used a third of the water flow before I pulled the diverter out. You'd think a spout should withstand any pressure, but this one doesn't. In general I don't like the retractable design, try pulling it out if you have lathered hands. I used a retractable Delta replacement as the metal adapter for the tub spout was already there and could easily be screwed onto the new spout. But I prefer the pull up design, it's easier to use.
