There are so many infrared thermometers on the market. I decided to buy a cheaper one. I use a type K thermocouple and a small dial thermometer to check the accuracy of the laser. I was surprised when I checked the temperature of the copper tube. The readings are very close together, 82.4 F (type k1) and 83.8 F (infrared). The next test is an ambient temperature of 80 F (small dial) or 81.9 F (infrared). I am very happy with the test results while I am repairing the air conditioner. I can confidently use an infrared thermometer to measure superheat, duct air temp, and outdoor condenser temp. I recommend these products to anyone who needs fast reading and accuracy.
