I was talking about 4 stars because of 1 RJ45 port with no continuity. Luckily I have 2 Cat 6a ports in the office so I can connect one to the Flex HD. I have a pro in the living room. Professionals serve many more customers and provide reliable performance. Flex HD operates at a medium frequency of 5 GHz vht 80 and a low frequency of 2.4 40. Primary services are an office on the first floor and the second floor above. I have a pro on low frequency. Site survey conducted with NetSpot Pro and used the Android Wifi Analysis App. I have turned off all access points except the Flex HD and the wall penetration is low, which is inconsistent with the transmit and antenna gain. A pro shouldn't have superior coverage, but in my testing, it does. So why did I give a very expensive hotspot 5 stars? A cute little device that sits on my desk that most people wouldn't realize is a hotspot. I wish it had a black wrap or dye option and it would be perfect. The Nano HD is still my favorite access point in terms of performance and cost. Nano HD has no passthrough, limiting implementation for people who want to use Unifi POE switches.
