I really liked this burner. I am a chef and have been using various burners for many years. This one was easy to use, felt good, and triggered the first click every time. Until he failed. Not only did the torch fail, it actually began releasing butane from below where it connects to the can, instantly turning from a controlled jet into a knuckle-bare fireball. I was able to turn it off quickly, but that didn't stop the squirting. It continued to release butane and flames that quickly got out of control and burned my fingers, forcing me to drop it on the floor. Luckily I have a small fire extinguisher handy and was able to put out the flames before anything else caught fire. Not cool.
