Before that I bought replacement aluminum joysticks. They fit very loosely and I also soon found that their holes were too deep to allow them to slide all the way down so their domes were positioned directly over the controller modules. Of course, this made it impossible to use the L3/R3 keys. So I decided to try something similar to the original mini joysticks and bought them. They fit and work perfectly and are the same height as the originals. The topsheet is also more textured both in the center and on the rims, so grip is excellent.
