Some sections of the zipper do not close properly and occasionally come apart. It's been happening since day one and I don't stuff it all the way or unzip. I've used it 3 times and I'm not sure how long the zipper will last. That being said, I've ridden in heavy rain and it wouldn't drain. Aside from the poor quality of the zipper, other materials are really good, such as the tab that closes the zipper. I live near a freeway with an 80mph speed limit and it works great. The straps work great too and they are well placed. If I could return this one and get a new one I would give it a try with the caveat that if someone else had the same zipper issue I would return it. If you decide to purchase this item and find any issues with the zipper, I would recommend returning it as soon as possible. Finally, I use it on my Lexus SUV with stock cross members and it works great.
